LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF THE ORANGE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION
RECOGNIZES CATHERINE E. DAVEY WITH THE 2009 AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

Orlando, FL. – May 27, 2009 – The Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association recognized Catherine E. Davey with the 2009 Award of Excellence. The award was presented during the Legal Aid Society’s Annual Gala on May 27, 2009 at the Ballroom at Church Street located in downtown Orlando.  Davey, an attorney specializing in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship and special needs trusts, was on hand to receive the award.

The Award of Excellence recognizes attorneys who have contributed significant work toward pro bono in the prior year and during his/her career. “I am honored to receive the Award of Excellence” said Catherine Davey, owner of The Law Office of Catherine E. Davey, P.A. “Serving the Legal Aid Society is something I am very proud of and I hope to continue to serve my community through this work,”

In addition to receiving the Award of Excellence, Davey also received a letter from Congressman Alan Grayson congratulating her on being honored by the Legal Aid Society.  In his letter Grayson said, “Congratulations on an amazing triumph.  What a joy this must be for you, your family and your friends.”
